TERMS AND CONDITIONS
DELIVERY & COLLECTION
Delivery times are estimates provided for your convenience in anticipating the arrival of your goods. We are not liable for any losses resulting from late delivery, whether due to our error or that of our couriers, and we do not offer compensation. Our products are designed to be robust and are not easily disassembled. Prior to ordering,consider access to the delivery location – check doorways, hallways, stairwells, and corners. Plan where you intend to place the item in your room, considering factors like radiators, plugs, and windowsills. Please note that our products have a tolerance of ± 5 cm; take this into account when ordering furniture to fit into specific spaces.
The dimensions are provided on each product page, and if you have any queries or specific needs, kindly contact us before placing your order. We do not accept responsibility for any challenges in placing the item in your desired location. While we typically consolidate all items into one shipment, there may be instances where items are sent separately. We reserve the right to adjust delivery charges for remote locations such as the Highlands, Islands, or non-UK addresses. Items can be collected from our workshop in Glasgow when they are ready. Collection is permitted after payment has been completed. Please get in touch to arrange collection (for larger items, a van will be required). We always strive to meet the specified delivery timelines. In the event of any delays, we are not obligated to adhere to arbitrary delivery windows or be held accountable for any related consequences. Please examine your goods upon delivery and notify us within 24 hours if any damage is detected.
LARGE ITEMS
At times, we may engage a third-party logistics provider to coordinate the delivery of your items. While they strive to schedule a suitable delivery window, their flexibility may be limited, so some adaptability on your end might be necessary. Our standard delivery service entails a 'two-man' team delivering your items to a convenient ground-level location. If your delivery location presents challenges (e.g. long distances or flights of stairs), please notify us. We offer a service where they can transport your items upstairs to a designated room – reach out to us for assistance. It is your responsibility to ensure that the courier can access the delivery location. The driver may decide to abort the delivery if it is unsafe, illegal, or not feasible. Any costs related to redelivery or storage will be at your expense. Please note that our couriers do not handle the removal or disposal of packaging materials.
PRODUCTS: C O L O U R S A N D C H A R A C T E R
Our frames are crafted by hand from solid wood, intended to capture and mirror the essence of the surroundings in which they originated, were crafted, and are being utilized. We embrace the unique character in each piece. Colors may appear differently on screens and in various lighting settings. If uncertain, you can request a sample pack before making a purchase.
SIZING
Our furniture is crafted by hand and not mass-produced, allowing for slight variations as we do not aim for millimeter precision. Our work maintains tolerances of ± 5 cm.
For alcove furniture purchases, it is advisable to choose an item 5 cm smaller than the alcove width to ensure a proper fit. We are not responsible for items that do not fit.

FEET
Felt pads are provided to safeguard your flooring. It is advisable to inspect them periodically for any wear and tear and replace them as needed. Please note that we are not responsible for any damage to your flooring. Our products boast ultra-strong frames, resulting in minimal flex compared to traditional wooden or flat-pack furniture. While our furniture legs are leveled in our workshop, slight rocking may occur initially due to variations in floor surfaces.
DURABILITY / CARE
Our products are intended for use in standard room temperature settings, away from direct sunlight, and in environments free from temperature fluctuations or high humidity levels (e.g., bathrooms). Wood can be affected by temperature, light, and humidity. Using them in typical conditions may lead to damage such as warping or cracking of wood. We are not liable for any such alterations. The tone of wood naturally changes with time, influenced by environmental factors and the wood type.
Like all items, ours are susceptible to damage through regular use. Customers are responsible for repairing any use-induced damage. Our products are not suitable for outdoor use.
PRICING / ORDERS
Descriptions on our website may contain occasional errors, and we retain the right to modify and rectify them without prior notice. Once work has commenced on an order, cancellations are not possible. However, adjustments to delivery information and additional items can be accommodated unless the order is ready for dispatch. Please reach out to us promptly if changes are needed for your order. We hold the authority to cancel orders at our discretion and for any cause (refunds will be issued without compensation provided).
BESPOKE ITEMS: Terms & Conditions
DELIVERY & COLLECTION
We strive to meet scheduled deliveries, but the dates provided are not legally binding; they are estimates. We are not liable for delayed deliveries due to circumstances beyond our control. If the buyer is unavailable upon order completion, we will transfer the furniture to a local third-party facility for storage until the buyer is ready for delivery, with additional fees of £100.00 + VAT per week. It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure the goods are correct and of satisfactory quality upon delivery or collection, and they must sign the delivery/collection note. If there is no one to receive the delivery, it will be considered accepted in good condition, and subsequent claims for damages cannot be accepted. Any discrepancies must be reported within 24 hours, and original packaging must be retained. Our liability for any faults or defects does not exceed the purchase price of the item. The buyer must ensure purchased items can fit through internal and external access points to the destination room.
Any rework or restocking fees due to items not fitting are the buyer's responsibility. Delivery times will be communicated promptly, and we are not liable for delays beyond our control. Our delivery team will unpack and install your furniture in the chosen room but will not dispose of packing materials or old furniture. Inform us of any parking restrictions; any parking fines incurred may be charged to the client for reimbursement. We reserve the right to repossess unpaid goods within the agreed period and may enter the premises to do so.
RETURNS, REFUNDS, AND CANCELLATIONS
In case of any product fault due to poor manufacture, we will repair or replace the furniture at no charge. Replacement items will be provided 'like for like', with no changes in sizes, fillings, or fabric allowed. This guarantee excludes normal wear and tear. Additional changes can be made at an extra cost; please request a quote from our design representatives. We hold the discretion to accept or refuse the return of any supplied products. A restocking charge of 25% of the invoice value applies to returned items sold through sales, special offers, and items sold as seen. Bespoke items incur a 100% charge. Refunds and exchanges are not possible for bespoke and made-to-order items. Clearance items do not automatically qualify for returns as they are sold as seen. If a cancellation occurs, the client is responsible for all costs incurred up to the cancellation point. We retain the right to calculate these costs. All cancellations must be communicated in writing.
GUARANTEE
Suite Illusions provides a 2-year guarantee on the wood frames of all furniture from the delivery date, excluding normal wear and tear, fillings, fabrics, legs, and mechanisms. Guarantees cannot be transferred to a third party.
FABRIC
We do not assume any liability for the use of selected fabrics. If clients provide their own fabric/s, it is their responsibility to ensure that the fabrics comply with the Furniture and Furnishings (Fire) (Safety) Regulations 1988 (as amended). Buyers should inform us at the time of ordering whether fabrics are flame retardant (FR) or FR treated. Some fabrics can be used over a "barrier cloth," especially if they contain over 75% natural fibers, eliminating the need for FR treatment if the furniture is first upholstered in a barrier cloth. The use of a barrier cloth must be requested at the time of ordering and may incur an additional charge. It is the buyer's responsibility to specify the correct interlining for domestic or commercial use. Fabric batches can vary slightly due to batch differences, with some fabrics being more prone to colour variations than others.
We are not liable for fading or discoloration caused by direct or indirect sunlight exposure. We are not liable for fading or discoloration resulting from contact with or exposure to any chemicals applied directly or nearby. We will not be responsible for any delays in fabric/leather order deliveries or associated costs due to these delays. We will not be held accountable for any flaws or defects in COM (Customers Own Material) or COL (Customers Own Leather) provided at any stage.
We cannot inspect fabrics or leathers supplied by the customer or their providers, nor will we be responsible for any costs or damages related to delayed or damaged goods.
While we strive to display the colours of our online products accurately, we cannot guarantee that your individual monitor will reflect the actual colour of the delivered product.
RISK & TITLE
The risk of the goods transfers to the buyer upon delivery, but the goods remain the property of the seller until full payment is made. If payment is made by check, ownership transfers when the funds have cleared the seller's account. You are not allowed to sell or relinquish possession of the goods until you own them. The seller reserves the right to enter any premises where the goods are stored for repossession purposes.

Suite Illusions is a registered data controller that adheres to the Data Protection Act 1988. All personal data is handled in compliance with this act.
